Has anyone stayed at this hotel? My family of 5 is taking a trip next May, and this one caught my eye. The price looked good, it's across the street form Disneyland, and the room has 2 queens plus bunk beds. If anyone has stayed and can give me their thoughts, I would appreciate it!

I love this hotel. When I can afford it, it's always our top choice (followed by HOJO for cheaper trips). I just stayed there with my family of 6 (3 adults, 3 children). I think the only things I don't like are the valet parking (there's no self-park option), and lack of free breakfast (but free breakfast is rare with that proximity to DL anyway and there's a coffee cart type breakfast area downstairs and Panera, Mimi's, and McDonalds within a 2 minute walk). If you're willing to pay for the view, try to get either a theme park view or a waterpark view and request the highest floor. We recently stayed in the 640-650 room number range and the view of the fireworks was amazing considering we paid for the waterpark view and weren't expecting the fireworks.

We are Marriott associates and usually go where we can get the best rate within walking distance. I think courtyard is the only one we haven't stayed at - it rarely offers associate rates. If staying across the street is important to you, it's probably your best choice - FFI is pretty basic. If it's not, the new RI at Katella/Harbor is AWESOME. And since they offer really good associate rates, I'm guessing regular rates are probably a little better than CY. It was built in August, and all of the rooms are at least a 1 bed suite. Full breakfast which is a big deal to us. We are staying at the Springhill suites (across parking lot from new RI) next time, and we got a bunk bed/2 queen room there for considerably less than what I think CY is going for now, so you may want to check there too. It was about a 10 min walk for us with 3 kids 5, 3, and 1.

No breakfast is one negative if that is a value to you...but the Courtyard does have the Bistro with basic Starbucks espresso drinks available both in the morning and evening.

Personally I like the ability to purchase better quality food and lattes both in the morning and in the evening vs some of the crap the free breakfast hotels offer and no options the rest of the day. The Bistro on site is actually one of the big perks of the Courtyard for me.
