I'm running way behind this week. One grandparent admitted to hospital for a heart attack and bypass, then my son got to go for an ultrasound because of his kidneys! But they are on the way !!!

Mailed to Eyor44 on Tuesday. My newspaper delivery guy failed to bring it on Sunday, so I had to wait until Tuesday after asking for re-delivery 4 times. Ack!!

Yay! I received my envie today, but it may be missing some coupons, it was split almost completely across the bottom.
Each week the envie seems to be in worst shape than the week before. I hope you can see the pics. What is going on with the post office these days. Last week's had some post office tape on it. The oddest thing is, no post mark. Just the barcode at the bottom of the envelope.

at least you can re-use the stamps!! just peel them off carefully and stick them on another envelope! Use invisible glue stick if needed.

After reading recent postings and getting messages from several train riders, it is time for reminders!

Tape the edges and seams of those white envies. The machines are very hard on envies especially the regular white ones. Manila envelopes are stronger but if you use white envies, use tape.

Mail on Monday. Tuesday is considered late and Wednesday is even later. 99% of the time they need to go out on Monday each and every week. The post office is slow and getting slower so it is more important than ever to mail on Mondays.

Check expiration dates. Nothing should be sent that is expired or will expire 7-10 days AFTER your train buddy has received the envie. You'll save yourself money and your train buddy frustration.

Important message for all train riders:

Tuesday, May 26 will be a required mailing even though there won't be any inserts next weekend due to it being Memorial Day weekend. Be sure to forward any coupons you receive this week that you don't want on Tuesday, May 26th. Post offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th.
