Coupon Organizing, Zipper Binder...

Of course, this assumes you match coupons to a store's sales, and that you make a list before you go instead of doing it on the fly in the store.

I do go through the store sales flyer, make a list & pull the coupons I plan to use. But it seems that on every trip I find an item or 2 that I didn't realize was on sale & then I remember (or check to see if) I also have a coupon, and my current coupon accordian thingy is just a pain to fumble through. This happens to me alot at wegmans in particular, because the flyer they send out is never really extensive & doesn't show all the sale items.

Even as I go through the flyer, when I see an item on sale I like being able to go to "that compartment" and look only through the few coupons that are there, rather than skim through the inserts I have saved.

I don't think I would personally like keeping the whole coupon insert, and having to sort back through it week after week, but I appreciate the idea for a different way of doing it ;)

I have made my binders and saved lots by doing so. I use the baseball card sheets and fold the coupons. It's not difficult and as long as you can see the product, amount off and expiration date, you'll be fine. I do have 2 separate binders though. One is for food and one is for health/beauty/paper products. I think they charge way too much for all of these homemade ones when it's simple to do yourself and make what works best for you.
