Does your grocery store limit coupons? A local grocery store on my way home from work had a sale on the little daisy cottage cheese/fruit single servings. I love them and take them to work for breakfast all the time. Anyway, they were 10 for $10. I got 20 of them. We rarely use coupons but right beside them was one of those little coupon dispensers so I got 20 coupons. When I got to the check out, the lady said she thought there was a limit on how many coupons they would take. She went and got a girl at the customer service counter and she came over and said it was corporate policy that they won’t take more than 4 of the same coupon. They had no notice posted, we asked. Didn’t make a big deal but did let them know we didn’t understand their reasoning. They didn’t offer a reason other than corporate policy. The coupons were not just store coupons so they would get their money back from the manufacturer. We bought 4 and let them put the rest back. We went on over to the same name grocery store that is nearer to our house, bought 20 of the cottage cheese things, used the 20 coupons with no problem. Got a great deal. With the coupon, it made them 50 cents each. Does your grocery store limit coupons?
