Was that Italian Thanksgiving a little on the wild(er) side that you came back with a cold? My German mother would recommend some hot chicken soup and lots of fluids while you relax on the couch and watch a handsome leading man on a DVD! Feel better soon, Pumpkinfish!

Yeah, that crazy family of ours Partying it up! lol . I think it had more to do with staying out late talking with our friends at the local bars/pubs. I did get to meet some childhood friends of DH's and he hadn't seen them in 15 years. Oh the stories they were telling .
I took it easy this afternoon on the couch and now feel like I wasted a day . Also had to convince my parents not to come over (DH had to go to work) with soup (although I have to confess, mom's hugs ALWAYS make me feel better even at my age). We come from German heritage as well. It's always soup and hot toddies to fight off colds.
