Coupon Exchange Train~~New Riders Welcome!

Paula, I received 3 packed envelopes in todays mail. I am still going through them. Thank you so much, there are a lot of coupons that I can use. I am very excited about this whole coupon exchange. I hope to save a lot of money this year with these coupons. I just got my paper today and there was only one coupon section in it. (We can get Saturday's news with Sunday's features here) which means that I can get my circulars and coupons on Saturday.

Oh, I do have one question, I was at my dad's house on Friday and found some coupons (which I quickly took) and there are some that expire at the end of the month. How much time prior to coupons expiring is it still OK to send to my exchangee? If there is not enough time, I will put these in with my envelope going out soon to Sleepy. Thanks.

Hi Jenny, My rule of thumb is never less than 7-10 days after the coupons are received by your train buddy. For instance, we will mail on Jan. 12. They should arrive on approximately Jan. 15. The coupons I send must expire on Jan. 22 or later~~preferably later. Giving your receiver only a week to redeem them often isn't sufficient time. If I send some with a short expiration like a week to ten days, then I try to enclose a whole lot more that don't expire for at least a month.
