Thought it would be fun to talk about what great coupon deals we got so I will start it off now.

I got so much stuff today at CVS for such a great deal! Got 8 bottles of shampoos, 1 bottle of Tide laundry detergent, one bottle of All laundry detergent, and 2 huge tubes of Colgate toothpaste for $20!! The shampoos were on sale and I had BOGO coupons! Used a coupon for all purchases and saved about $45 in coupons the past few days:cool1: Still can't believe I was paying full price for things before. I also got 2 boxes of fiber one granola bars, 2 boxes of nature valley granola bars, and 2 packs of "Always" for only $11 at Walgreens.

I just started couponing and I'm loving all the deals I've been getting! I'm like you - I can't believe I've been paying full price for these things for all these years. I have my lists and coupons all ready to hit CVS and Walgreens this week.

I just started couponing too and its been a lot of work but so worth it. I haven't really been finding any great deals on groceries as much as health and beauty stuff. I have enough razors for at least a year and have a great stock of shampoos and toothpaste!

Target has the Transformer, Dark of the Moon, toys on sale anywhere from $9.99 to $11.99. If you combine their store coupon, which you must print out and bring with you to the store, and their mobile coupon, which you must also sign up for and receive via text message the toy is free! Both coupons are for $5 off your purchase of $5.99 or more of Transformers, Dark of the Moon toys, making them free or $1.99 if you get the more expensive of the toys. We picked up the Optmus Prime (Sp?) for my nephew! Just wanted to pass it along to other families! Its never too soon to start Christmas shopping!

With other coupons, I walked out of the store with two bottles of Shampoo, two cans of Suave Dry Shampoo (great for touch ups while its hot here in the Texas or Florida sun!) Two things of Kleenex, A box of Always Infinities, Two Boxes of Tampax Pearls and the Transformer toy for $10.11!!!!!

Couponing is something I have done for years. I have helped my step daughter get acquainted with the system and she is also amazed at how much money she has wasted over the years. She never thought it was worth the effort to find a sale and keep track of the coupons. Then things got tight financially for her and I was sending her care packages from my storage closet. One day she asked me to show her how I did it so I got out my coupons and my ads and went through the routine with her.

One thing I like about couponing is that it increases my ability to donate to my local food pantry. My mother and I both volunteer there and some of the items we get the most requests for are for things not covered by food stamps like shampoo and paper goods. So when I find a good deal like the Dove this week at CVS, I'll try to do it as many times is I feel I can. This week with the BOGO Dove shampoo, combined with the $0.75 off one coupon that was out there, the shampoo cost almost nothing. Since I like to keep my stock fresh, I will donate some older bottles and replace them with the Dove.
