i would love to put a coupon book together for my dd but not sure how...i am not very creative. can anyone give me some ideas?

Yes i am at the beginning stages I think i might just do blank ones since I only have the one child. I did reach out to Mel for the invites (love that idea) But have no idea how to assemble.

I was thinking of just stapling them but that is kinda blah LOL

hopefully someone has some ideas

I just got finished with my coupon books! The coupons ended up being different sizes so I also couldn't figure out a good way to assemble them.

I ended up punching a whole in the upper left corner and attaching the coupons to a ring. (Like a key ring with a clip) I then tied Disney themed ribbon to the ring. It turned out cute and the kids can easily clip it to the stroller or backpack.

Now I just need to decide how to use the coupons! Have the kids give them to me when used or have me initial them with the date and time??

I used cardstock. It was thicker/heavier than regular cardstock though. Can't remember what weight it was but it only came in a pack of about 100-150 sheets. :)

I adjusted all my coupons in Photoshop so that they are the same size and I have a cover...I was going to get them perforated and bound (like a real coupon book), but my husband said the machine is a pain to set up & it's really expensive (he works in a print shop), so now I am not sure. I might get them spiral bound just like I am doing the autograph books.

I like the idea of initialing them with the date. I might also use a small sticker with my initials and date. I bought a book of 600 Mickey & Friends stickers for $2 or $3 @ Walmart. My son wants laminated maps of the parks that he can put stickers on them to mark where we have been and what we have done....lol:goodvibes

I would think kinkos or any other print shop could do it. My husband works for printing & graphics at a community college, and they do orders and stuff for the general public too, so if you have a small college close by you might call them. For me it is cheaper than Kinkos. He uses a thin flimsy lamination so the maps can still be folded brochure style. He has done it in the past with our jogging trails map. It's just enough laminate to keep the map sturdy but it can also be folded easily.
