My DH and I had a couples cabana massage on Castaway Cay on our last trip and we didn't have the romance package. But, beware....we paid more for those massages (including tip) than the cost of the romance package!
I would assume that couples massages are available on the ship as well without the need of a package.
For the record...we weighed out the costs of the romance package offerings and decided to book it. Although it doesn't include a CABANA massage, we'll be able to handle a massage on the ship plus lots of extras for the what we paid for cabana massages last time. You can't beat the atmosphere of a seaside massage, but hey, champagne breakfast in bed is a pretty good trade off!
As a definite spa newbie, I have a silly question - we have the Romance package for our upcoming cruise, and the couples massage is part of that of course - when we get that, do we both get the massage at the same time in the same room, with 2 masseuses? Or is it one at a time?
I'm hoping it's both at the same time, it might help DH relax a bit, as he's never had one before...

This is the same question I asked when I called DCL last week. They said that you are both in the same room at the same time, but with 2 different people doing the massages.
Hi, we did the couples absolute face and body massage treatment on the Western 9/13/03. We did not book the romance package.
It was done together, in the same room, separate attendants, very small room The tables were only about six inches apart. Just enough room for someone to squeeze between them to move around in the room. Afterwards we were presented with separate charge slips to tip individually.
We are going to book the romance package next time and try just the regular couples massage.
I was able to, yes, but my TA said that they did this as a courtesy, when she booked my Palo dinner and champagne brunch. So I'm not 100% sure if this is "standard" or if we just lucked out! =/
My Husband and I just got back from out 12-24 Wonder Cruise and we booked a couple massage. As the other posters said small room two tables two different people giving the massages. cost was $89.00 each plus tips. we also did the couples surlie bath. I did not care for the couple bath. Cost was $68.00 for 50 min in a privet steam room with mud and lotions I just felt kind of weired I did like the massage but time went so quickley it did not feel like a very long time. hope this helps
