DBF and I (2 big kids) don't have kids, but we love candy!!! Do we get to Trick-Or-Treat at MNSSHP or is that only for the little ones?? Are there any couples that do/have done this? ;)

We haven't done MNSSHP as a couple, only as a family, but we did go to MVMCP before our DD was born.

About the trick-or-treating - we were in a large party with more adults than kids so when we entered the park and the CM asked how many bags we needed, we just told her the amount of kids we had with us. She explained that everyone got a bag regardless of age because we had all purchased a ticket! :goodvibes

I hope you have a great time at MNSSHP and enjoy your treats! ;)

We went to MNSSHP a few years ago as a couple with my 75 yr old MIL. She had so much fun trick or treating because she had not done it as a child. She got the most candy!

In 2000, my wife and I ( then ages 33 and 30 ) attended MNSSHP and had a great time. We both wore shorts with a Halloween sweatshirt. We also both had a "loot" bag and enjoyed trick or treating throughout the park. It seemed a little strange at first but after a few times you end up right in there with everyone else saying "trick or treat" and having your bag filled! You definately feel like a kid again. I can't wait to go this year on the 31st as we will now have our 3 yo daughter with us. Have a great time!

We went to MNSSHP a couple years ago. We dressed as Cinderella and Prince Charming. I proposed to my wife at Cinderella's Coash that night. We had an absolute blast. Seeing everyone in costume, trick or treating, the decorations, everything is great. We had so much fun, we went to a second MNSSHP night (but did not dress up). I have been to MVMCP, but prefer MNSSHP.

We would recommend dressing up (but wear comfortable shoes).

We will be going again this year (and dressing up).

OMG - that is so incredibly sweet. Dressing up as Cinderella and Prince Charming and then the proposal.

When are you going this year - just curious, we will be there also on October 31st. Have a great time!

DH & I are going to our first MNSSHP 10/20. We have been married 16 years this month, and are childless by choice. No costumes for us, just looking forward to seeing the decorations, parades and the MK after dark.

Between the party, a KTTK tour, and the F&W Festival, I'm praying for a 180º in DH's attitude toward WDW. He says no more vacations in Orlando after this unless we do a family trip with neices / nephews. Silly man is in desperate need of some PD - He still thinks the parks are for kids.

I understand that after about 10 - 10:30, the park begins to thin out as the little ones run out of steam, leaving the older kids and adults All Alone (cue spooky music here) with the likes of George, the ghost in the POTC, and the 999 Happy Haunts - BUWWHHAAHAA.

Hope you have a terrific time at the party!

DH and I are doing our 2nd MNSSHP on 10/20. We will be dressing up and trick or treating. The first time we did MNSSHP we were a party of 4 adults and no one batted an eye. You'll have a blast!

Wife and I did it in 2001. We were dressed up, upon entering I was DENIED a bag for candy because I wasn't a kid! (The shock and horror!). Lucky for me upon moving a bit further , I was handed a bag since I must have been grumpy looking or something! The CMS handed my wife and candy every time we stopped no problem at all! Enjoy and don't miss that parade!

DH and I were handed candy bags as we walked in, back in 2003. We had a lot of fun trick-or-treating, and no one gave us a glance! It was a lot of fun (a flashback to childhood), plus we had treats in our room for the rest of the trip!

We are going back again this year, and will not give a second thought to a 32 and 35 year old trick-or-treating, as we are all kids at WDW!

We went last year as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. It was tons of fun. We got lots of candy, too!! :sunny:
