Couple of Quick Questions

Just want to make sure I got everything right (it's been a year since I've flown anywhere).

1. I can bring camcorder tapes & digital camera memory sticks (as well as the camcorder & camera, of course) in my carry-ons and that x-ray machine won't damage either, right? It will only damage with the checked x-ray machine, correct?

2. How far in advance should I reconfirm my DME reservations? 24 hours? 48 hours? A week?

3. I'm flying Southwest. My plane gets in to one of the gates in the 100's at MCO, correct? Then I go to the main building, cross to the B area, then go where to get to DME?

4. How many resorts do the DME buses stop at? Is there a minimum or maximum?

5. Where do I go to get my DME return voucher? Do I call DME or is there a counter at my resort that I go to & book the return trip? My airline (SWA) is not one of the participating airlines, so I know I need to bring my own luggage to the bus and take it off the bus.

6. Is it still 3 hours prior to your flight that DME picks you up at your resort to take you back to the airport or has that changed?

1. Yes. For the record, memory sticks are entirely unaffected by airport screening
2. Whenever you want, but as long as you've got your DME packet, you don't have to reconfirm anything.
3. Level One.
4. No more than four, probably fewer.
5. Same voucher for both directions. If you have a DME packet, and it has a voucher in it, that's all you need.
6. 2.75 to 3 hours, yes.

7. For the record, ALL the Magical Express information is answered in the several DME stickies at the top of each page of the Transportation board.

FILM is sensitive to light. X-rays are a form of light. Therefore, x-rays can affect film.

Digital memory is not sensitive to light. Therefore, x-rays cannot affect digital memory.
