Couple of questions on T-Rex menu

How does "Sides and Enhancements" on the menu work?

2 adults: one orders burger and the other person order onion soup. Can we add Pork ribs from "Sides and Enhancements" for $7.99?

And does T-Rex let adults order from children's menu? I think I read here each restaurant has different rules on this.

We are paying cash.
I want to go to T-rex because we don't have one in our area...only Rainforest but not too crzy about their menu so I thought maybe I can order onion soup or something off children's menu while my son order one of the hamburgers. Since just onion soup is not enough, if we can order side enhancements, I was thinking of getting ribs for $7.99.

If we are not allowed, then I was thinking of ordering onion soup and something off children's menu.

In my experience, yes. But someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

If you don't like Rainforest menu I doubt you will be happy at T Rex. There are so many great restaurants at Disney Springs. I would definitely choose somewhere else.
