Couple of questions about VIP Tour

We have a VIP Tour booked for our upcoming trip in October. I have a couple questions:

1) Tips - Can you do this via credit card or do you need to bring cash?
2) People who go have a VIP Tour can have a spot for the fireworks the day of their tour reserved (as I understand it). Does anyone know where this spot is for the fireworks?

I have always tipped with cash.

The usual spot is the North Spoke of the Hub, the sidewalk between the partners statue and the castle.
Sometimes the East Crescent of the Hub, the sidewalk next to the street between the North and East Spoke.

We always tip with cash $20 pp, per day. As for the fireworks, we've done both north spoke of the hub following the evening parade. However, we've also watched from the VIP seating section following Fantasmic. Both are great and it just depends on your evening plans. The evening entertainment arrangements will be booked ahead of time, so your name is on the "list" for getting into those sections. Hope this helps :)

It does help! We talked about doing Fantasmic and watching from there but decided we want to be by the castle instead for the fireworks. We've seen Fantasmic plenty of times.

I generally tip $200 cash. No, can't put it on a credit card.

As for where to see fireworks, seating is usually in front of the castle near the hub, as Nonsuch said. I have also been offered seating at IASW when I scheduled late on a busy day.

If we have been with the tour guide all day, but finished our time with him/her in the late afternoon, are we still able to reserve the VIP tour section for fireworks in the MK? Or is that only if you are still being escorted by a guide at the time of the fireworks?

Your reserved viewing reservation can be after the tour is completed. You may also have multiple reservations, such as Fireworks and late Fantasmic.

Most things, like fireworks, World of Color, and Fantasmic! you can do after. Last I was told, you need your tour guide for Frozen and Mickey's Magical Map.
