Couple of OKW questions

Hello Neighbors
Leaving on Saturday for our first trip to the "World" as DVC members and just wanted to double check a few things.We're staying in a studio at OKW.
Ok..coffee filters..no4 round.is that correct?
Are there irons in the room or are they available if not?
Items that should be in the room..4 towels,plates cups,is there silverware.
Thanks for your help,just want to double check with the Veterans.

There are usually no irons in an OKW studio, but you may request some. You will get paper bowls, plates, cups, and silverware and napkins wrapped together in celophane ala fast food places. You should get 4 of each. There is usually coffee already packaged in a filter, but for extra days you need coffee filters or pick up the kind that are made that way. Maxwell House makes some that you can buy at your local grocery store or Goodings at Crossroads has carried them in the past. Enjoy your stay and I hope this helps.

We are checking into OKW on Saturday too.

I'll be easy to spot--by mid-week, I'll be the woman that flinches at the mention of riding Pooh one more time! I am sure my 2 year old daughter will try and wear it out!

One note: The "silverware" is plastic, not actually 'tableware'

Yes - the small #4 filters for the coffeemaker. Irons are always in the studios that we have been in. Take any small bowls that you may need if you do any cooking in the microwave - I also take a few "real" pieces of silverware and my own plastic cereal bowls, plates, etc. Have a gret time!

A recent report sounded like they might be adding toasters to the studios. If not, you can request one as well as a can opener (manual) and a wine cork. Have a wonderful trip! The first week of May is always one of my favorite times to be at WDW.

Wow, there's quite a crew of us checking in Saturday..we will be arriving too! We'll be the folks from Boston with big smiles on our faces enjoying the warm weather, green grass etc.! It's been a long winter up here! (Although, we did hit 80 yesterday!)

I dont have anything to add, just wanted to tell all the Sat. check-ins to have a WONDERFUL time.
