Okay another question, were staying at the paradise pier hotel how do we get to disneyland? Is it a terribly long walk is there a ride we can take. Also about the princess fantasy faire is it expensive and what is it? is it worth it for a 3 year old girl? thanks for your help! ~ kimberly

My favorite route is thru the GCH. (also my favorite route into DCA).

About a half a mile from PP to DL. About a 1/4 mile into DCA.

I'll let others comment on the monorail.

The PFF is a must for any three-year-old little princess. There's a coronation ceremony that doesn't cost anything, as well as storytelling. There's also the painfully long line to actually meet the princesses and have photos taken. We kept DD4 busy getting her hair done (which is not free and can be pretty pricey) while DD14 held her spot in line. There's also a craft table with some simple crafts for the little ones.

We did PFF and loved the coronation, but not the line to meet the princeses. The next trip we will do Ariel's for lunch to get the princess thing and skip the line for the princesses at PFF. We will go and do the coronation and story telling (all free) If you ask a CM they will tell you when they are happening so you don't have to wait long.

There is a sidewalk along the back of the PPH which will take you past the DLH to DTD, where you can catch the monorail. It's not really that bad of a walk, and the CMs will give you instructions if you ask. If you try to cut through the GC to DTD, you will end up far past the monorail, by the way.

I think the fastest way is through the GC lobby. However, the path that goes by the DH will give you a good excuse to stop at the radio controlled boats....
