Couple last minute questions

Hello lovelies! I am leaving in 2 DAYS (squeeee!!!) and I have 2 questions.

I have been to WDW many many times, but not since the magic bands have been widespread. We received our order of our customized bands (colors/names) a few weeks ago. But...we just got an email that our band order is ready to pick up at our resort and MDE shows we all have 2 active bands with one for each of us with our given names and all in grey. Has anyone ever had double bands done? Anyone have an idea why that would be? We're not doing a split stay or anything like that, the only change we made was adding the dining plan since we got our bands.

And second is even more long winded (sorry, I have vacation brain already). Me and my mother are the ones in control of our reservations, but we have 2 other adults going with us. We have 2 sets of reservations that they are on with their own MDE that do not show on mine, and we do not have linked MDE since they are first timers who keep playing with things and I don't want them accidentally changing anything. They are panicked that their reservations won't show up and they won't get in. I've never gone with multiple separate MDE accounts, has anyone ever had a problem? I've reassured them, but they're very nervous and I haven't encountered this before.

Multiple bands is no problem. They're all linked to you. We've done split stays and gotten multiple sets. Just open the door with it to make sure the band is working.

Did your friends get a letter with luggage tags? If so they should be fine.

We got their luggage tags and magic bands because the package was bought by us for all 7 people to make it simpler
