We have a lake view studio booked and I am planning on emailing MS with a request. I would like to try to get at least a partial MK view so what would be my best bet for a request? I am assuming a high floor for sure.

Also, we are staying on a friends points so we can use the lounge correct? Does everyone have to be on the reservation as my daughter and her bf would like to come in with us but aren't on the reservation

thanks for help!

I suggest that you find the BLT thread with views to see what the view will look like. IMO it isn't worth the bother looking at back stage areas and roof tops.

If you are a member then yes you can go to TOTWL and all need to be on the reservation.

You have to be a member to get into TOTW. They do ask for member card.

Request north wall, even number room, high floor

That was my request and I got 7906:

I'll just add - we requested first choice for these sideline MK views and second choice for a straight on bay lake view (center of the C). We ended up with the bay lake view and I found I really loved it. We still saw the electric water pageant, but otherwise it was such a nice way to get a break from the park action. Kids didn't see the park out the window and want to go back. It's really a lovely lake view that way. So you may find you enjoy the bay lake view just as much. :)

There are only about 8 lake view rooms that can catch a sideways glimpse of the Magic Kingdom. Don't get your heart set on it. You'd have better luck with a standard-view than a lake-view.

Technically, there are some "perks" that are supposed to convey to "guests" but not "renters." In practice, however, only members will be allowed up.

thanks for the responses. I thought I read as long as the reservation shows it is through DVC you can use the lounge. Guess we will have to see and maybe I should put them on the reservation too. It probably doesn't matter that I am listed as an 'associate' on his account because I don't have a card?

As far as view I have looked at the thread with the views and was overwhelmed. Maybe I will just ask for partial MK view high floor and see what happens

Associates get no discounts or perks. You'll need a member card that matches your magic band.

Correct, associates don't get a card and they don't get benefits. If you are there anyway, I would check with the CM checking ID's and see what they say. The lounge is a for profit operation for Disney, maybe they will let you up anyway.

You were overwhelmed with the view photos, meaning that you love the view?

Rental reservations are through DVC but renters get no benefits, just the room. It is impossible for the lounge attendants to distinguish between someone's favorite cousin and a rental transaction.

No I was overwhelmed at how many pictures there were and trying to figure out what to actually request lol
