Hiya,
forgive me if I'm being stupid, but I'm a bit confused about the restaurant reservation system?
I have the phone number and the list of which restaurants i want to book, but I'm unclear about what I have to pay - is it a deposit? If so, which percentage etc?
Also, we couldn't get a direct train so we have to change at Lille - can anyone tell me whether this is an easy process, bearing in mind we will have a buggy and 2 young kids to cope with etc - we have almost an hour between trains also.
We go on 16th Feb
thanks!!

In terms of the restaurants, it depends on what you want to book. We booked the Buffalo Bill show and had to pay in full at the time of booking. We also booked the character tea party at Plaza Gardens and we have to pay on the day. So i think it can vary.

The number we call is 0033 1 60 30 40 50.
Sorry can't help with the train.

I would imagine you would pay on the day. I have never known for the restaurants to take deposits so the only way they can expect you to pay upfront is if the meal is a set price.

Cafe Mickey do have a set price meal but they also have a normal menu for lunch and dinner so i can't see how they can expect you to pay in advance as you won't know what you would be ordering.

If i remember rightly when we booked Cafe Mickey for breakfast we paid when we arrived.

I suggest giving them a call pretty soon though. Cafe Mickey in particular is popular and as its some of the UKs half term that week you should book as soon as you can.:thumbsup2

No charge at all, and really friendly and polite. My parents own a villa in Highgrove, I just wondered! :)
Have a great time, take care x

Hiya,
We've travelled once via Lille, it wasn't as easy as the direct train but no wonder... There's plenty of time to get the connecting train, you just have to follow the signs on the monitors and find the right platform. We got a little bit lost with the platform due to my lack of understanding French and being stressed about travelling with a 3 month old baby and DH staring into space but it all worked out in the end.

Bear in mind that the train from Lille isn't the Eurostar train, it's a normal one that runs in France and don't get disappointed.

You'll have a fab time there, just think about that.

Hiya, so does it go into the train station at Marnee at the same place as the direct train?
