Country Inns ~ Shuttle info etc.

I am looking at making offsite hotel for our next trip cause we are including my Mom and need more room than a value at WDW but need to stay very thrifty. I found Country Inns (which we have stayed at one before in Tampa) to offer a shuttle service. Can anyone tell me generally if you are using an offsite with a shuttle where they drop you off at the parks. I am guessing that it is somewhere in the normal parking lots for a bus dropoff. Then on average how is the shuttle services for offsites? ie is it usually several times a day, do they sometimes make stops at other hotels?
We are making a short trip so granted $14 a day to drive in myself isn't that bad but the idea of not having to negotiate the traffic is nice too.

If was me I would drive. I would not depend on offsite shuttles at all.
