I'm trying to decide btwn these two. I hear good things about both but on trip advisor some of the reviews on Embassy are mixed. I do like the fact that they have made to order breakfast and a manager's reception and I like that Country Inn is supposedly within walking distance of restaurants, stores, etc. The mixed reviews are making me so indecisive. Can anyone post their views?

I'll be watching this post. I have reservations at Country Inn LBV for a great price. I know the location and it is within walking distance of restaurants. But as creatures of habit, I keep getting pulled towards our old Staybridge Suites LBV...I just can't get excited about a hotel I know nothing about. EEK! :3dglasses

I know the feeling. This is my first time off-property. We have stayed at Pop twice so I'm trying to make sure I choose carefully! Country Inn does have a better price right now too. My travel dates are 8/28-9/3/09 so I have to decide soon.

We are visiting Sea World/Universal and 1 day at Epcot/1 day at MK so we are straying off-site for a Nov. 2010. First time reviewing off-site hotels. The Embassy Suites LBV vs the Doubletree DTD. I like the tropical colors of the Embassy and the breakfast, & no fees for parking yet. I like cheerful looking hotels or hotels they say we are in "FLORIDA" I do know that both of these hotels get good reviews from DISers.
