I just recently (about 6 months) started listening to country and I LOVE it!! It's more like rock than the country of the old days.

BUT why oh why is the CMA'a in NYC. NYC doesn't even have a country station - I think.

That's why. NYC/Long Island doesn't have any country stations at all - and there's a lot of disgruntled country lovers out here. I have to listen to a CT. station which luckily I get b/c I'm on the north shore - once I drive south, I lose it.

They are trying to get NYC to embrace country, and trying to get radio stations to pick it up. I'm crossing my fingers!

Is it me or do a lot of the artists sound really off? I understand they are live. Maybe it's the venue in which they are playing?

I think it just says how much songs are "dubbed" these days....I think they sound good for being live, but artists seem to sound less and less like their "albums" lately.

Tim looked wonderful...I wasn't fond of Faith's hair though - it looked a little frizzy like it does on her new album cover. Her hair always used to look 100% polished and now she changed it for some reason. Maybe she's got a new stylist or something.

I hope Big and Rich win something one of these days....

I've heard Faith live (or at least I thought it was live) on other shows before and she sounded better. She was probably just having an off night. And you are right about her hair. I don't like it.
