Some days, that's all you can do. It reminds me of what I should be grateful for and does make me feel better.

How is everyone else's weekend going?

OK so far. Just chillin.

There are days I have to stop and just make myself count my blessings and know that Im so much more fortunate than some.

I'm doing well. Counting down until a certain homecoming. We will be in Indy in December for a Colts game before driving up into the frozen tundra also know as inlaw land ehhehehe.

How are you doing? How's your girls?

I wish for you a time when you aren't counting down, for him come home or to leave.
Coming to Indy? I'd love to meet you, but my schedule is pretty crazy. How will your's be?

Me and my girls are healthy. :thumbsup2

(two of my blessings)

I am blessed that I am not back in the hospital so far. But I think I am sleeping way too much. I took a 2 hour nap this afternoon, so I guess I am still pretty anemic. I go for another battery of blood tests on tues. Praise God they said I dont have leukemia or aplastic anemia. I am in a real thankful mood this week end and really counting my blessings.

I am having a great weekend so far. My son had is football game this morning, and we are all home tonight. Which is SUCH a rarity.
:goodvibes
Canadian Thanksgiving and we are having a LARGE family dinner tomorrow night. I am really looking forward to that. Then election day in Canada is on Tuesday, so a 4 day weekend :woohoo: :woohoo:

Oh, and 33 days or so until vacation..

Hope everyone is having a good weekend also..

See, the health is a biggie. All things pale in comparison. I sure hope what they find out is something simple that they missed before.

That does sound like a great weekend. :)

Weekend is going fine so far. DH is in the basement screaming at LSU on TV (they're losing horribly). DD14 spent the nite out with friends. DD10 was supposed to have a friend over but that got cancelled at the last minute so she is in her room watching Princess Diaries. DS16months is sound asleep beside me in my bed.

I'm a little dizzy (not sure why) so I am sitting in bed surfing the DIS and ebay and chatting with one of my favorite people. :D :D

luvmarypoppins - hope they find whatever is going on soon. Have they checked for any clotting disorders or endocrine issues?

Despite having a huge paper and two exams due next Tuesday, I'm having a wonderful weekend. I'm thankful to be able to return to school in pursuit of my dream degree.

My alma mater just won a huge ball game, and the sooners got blasted down in Dallas. That combination can't help but make me smile. :)

sometimes it just takes a read on one of the other boards here to make me stop and realize how blessed my family really is.

Hi Laurie and other posters here.

My weekend has been going well as one of my sons is home from college. He doesn't come home very often so it's a treat to see him.....even if he does bring home a ton of laundry!!!!:goodvibes

This weekend is MUCH, MUCH better than last weekend. :upsidedow But still a lot of possible bad news in the upcoming weeks and months (all health related). :confused3

 I hope you they can find out what's going on with your health, and that it's something they can fix easily.

Trying very, very hard to count my blessings and enjoy the GREAT weather this weekend.. :goodvibes

However, I am very irritated that DGD and I missed our yearly tradition of spending the day together (just the two of us) going to all of the Fall/Harvest Festivals up here yesterday..:headache:

Looks like we're going to have Indian Summer up here right through Thursday :thumbsup2 - and then drop to a very chilly 50 degrees when DD, her DH, and my DGD come back for their last weekend to pack up their travel trailer and take it home.. Figures.. :scared:
