Counting Our Nuts Like Chip & Dale, a Financially Aware PTR *Update 4/17 Pg 62 *

Woo Hoo!! :cool1: More days with free dining!! :cool1: Congratulatios!!

Congratulations again!!!! I'm so excited for you! And perhaps even more thrilling is that Marc is out of the closet with his Disney love! :yay:
Thank you! And thanks again for your help, I loved not having the stress of being on hold but I'm sure your day was a tad stressful.

Oh, he is totally out of the closet. He was telling me last week he was even telling his boss about the great deal we got in renting points and his boss was impressed. Apparently he is a Disney lover as well!! They are multiplying for sure.

The second I saw the free dining dates I immediately thought...I bet LL is messing around with her dates :rotfl2: Good for you :thumbsup2 oh and tell Marc he is really proving to be a good DH!
You thought....RIGHT. He is a very good DH. He proved it last night in getting up with me three times so I could use the bathroom. I can't do anything for myself on these darn crutches. I finally had to get up because laying down was killing my leg and he got me settled in the living room and went back to sleep. I am very lucky to have him.

OMG!!! That sucks!!! Keep it rested so you wont have any long term problems with it! I didn't rest my wrist... well I didn't even go get it looked at... back in high school because I had a color guard performance that night. Being the captain I had to perform! Now in my chosen career as a massage therapist it gives me troubles.
I know, it's hard to be so useless though. I'm not one to sit around and have people do things for me, I like to do them myself!

Having months to recover before Disney was the second thing I thought of when I saw this on Facebook! First I was like "oh my gosh, poor Leslie" (I've never had a fracture or anything, knock on wood, and can't imagine how badly it hurts), and then I was like "well, at least her trip to Disney isn't till January!"

Hope you feel better soon  I'm so sorry that had to happen, it's such crappy luck.
It seriously hurts. I took my heavy duty pain medicine too from my kidney stones last year since the pharmacy was closed by the time we got home and it did help me fall asleep but the pain is unbelievable. Nothing is helping it go away.

I'm very late to the party, but I'm joining in! Yay! You got Free Dining AND three more nights, it's like hitting the jackpot! :yay:
It really is!!! I love me a good Disney deal and I think we got two great ones for this trip. :thumbsup2

Oh no!!! I hope you feel better soon!!! At least you have plenty of time to recover before Disney though!!!
Thanks. That was what Marc kept telling me in the ER. We usually go in September and now I'm very thankful that we aren't this year.

:dance3:woohoo!!!!!!!!:dance3:
:woohoo:

Hi Leslie! Haven't posted anything on your reports, but I have read them all! Love them!

So sorry to hear of your injury. On the bright side, depending on how bad the break is, it might be better than having a bad sprain. Sprains can sometimes take a lot longer to get over. The hard part is strengthening your lower leg after you get the go ahead from your doc. I have worked in Physical Therapy for 20 years (right now I am an office manager for a private practice in Hingham). Do you have any ligament damage? What ortho doc are you seeing? For the life of me I can't remember where you live, but I know the name of a good P.T. if you are anywhere near the Hingham area. LOL!

Tiffany

Oh no!!!! That stinks!! I'm so glad your trip isn't for several months!

Pixie dust for a speedy recovery... pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Ack! Your poor foot. I hope it feels better soon.

As to the extra days, awesome! Don't you love Disney math, and free dining.

Oh no! That is the pits! I hate that you have to go through that. It makes everyday things so hard. I did that same thing a few weeks before I got married! No fun! I hope you heal up quickly and find a solution to your stair problem!

Oh man stinks about the foot!!! UGHHHH stupid hole!! Feel better soon!!!!

Darn holes! They always jump out at you! I know they do for me when I'm driving!

That STINKS. :headache:

Cute toes, though! :thumbsup2

That stinks about your foot.:headache:

Soooo, I'm late to the thirty day challenge, but not real late, so I'm giving you my answers. :rotfl:

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom - Because it's just pure Disney to me.
Favorite Land in MK: Well....I don't know. I love Main Street but I take a huge relaxing breath when I cross into Adventure Land\, so I'm going with Adventure Land.
Favorite Ride in Tomorrow Land:Without a doubt CoP. (Thanks LL, for introducing it to me!)

And yaaaaayyyy for Marc coming out of the closet! :cool1::cool1::woohoo::woohoo:

Oh no! I hope that it heals quickly. Crutches and stairs don't sound like a good combination.

At least the trip planning is coming along. It sounds like Marc really is becoming a Disney fan.

New dates:
Thursday Jan 12 - Sunday Jan 15: Pop Century
Sunday Jan 15 - Friday Jan 20: Animal Kingdom Villas!

The moral of this fairy tale...ALWAYS tell your husband about Disney deals.

:rotfl: that is a great moral...nice new dates! so how does it affect the original park plans?

I saw that news too...I didn't look at it since we aren't eligible staying DVC (which I think is poop-y) good for you though...hope free dining though doesn't increase those crowds...:headache:

So......I fractured my foot this evening.

Oh NO! that stinks...feel better soon...

Oh No!! Leslie your poor foot!:headache: That stinks! You should sue! Then you could take an extra-long trip to Disney!;)

Yay for booking more time! That's really a great deal! I'd call that a win-win!

As my DH would say

CRAPAREWSKI!!!! I'm so sorry for your injury - I'm going to walk very carefully now.

So glad you have lots of time to heal before your trip. Be a good girl and do whatever they tell you to do so you don't have long lasting effects!! Don't try to do too much too soon. It won't turn out well.

You DO have a great DH! What a guy!!

Oh no, your poor foot! A good friend of mine tripped pver her dog a few days ago & broke her foot. She has to have surgery Mon., needs pins & screws inserted. She's taking extra Vicodine as her pain is pretty intense.

Thank goodness you will be back to normal by January.:wizard:

Ouch on the foot! :flower3:
I have to agree about the comments on your DH! I think it has something to do with the name.
They seem to be rather special!:goodvibes

Marc was intrigued as he knew that Leslie wanted to add nights, that it was her one true desire for this trip as she thinks 5 nights is way too short to spend in Disney.

This is true. I am thankful to even get short trips, but sometimes they stress me out because there are too many choices to make about what is going to get done and what is going to be left out. I much prefer 10-11 night trips.

Which is what she did. Until...there was an email from Brook! Yay! Free Dining is booked!! Three extra nights at Pop Century!!

Yay for free dining and for fun at Pop!

Melissa, now you, falling into holes. :sad2: Bad luck comes in threes, so let's hope another DISer is not getting ready to step in a hole. I hope you are feeling better.

Congrats on adding the free dining. don't think I didn't try the same thing with my December reservation, but the dates did not quite work out. Oh well!

I don't remember if I had ligament damage or not. That's bad of me I know but the ER is a blur at this point. I live near Worcester. I had a great doctor come in and see me at the ER and I have an appointment with him on the 15th for follow up. The biggest problem I am having right now are my crutches. I'm not doing well on them at all and I'm in a panic that I will have to go out in public and to work with them. I look like a fool.

Oh no!!!! That stinks!! I'm so glad your trip isn't for several months!

I love free dining and extra Disney days for sure! I do not love my foot. :lmao:

Oh no! That is the pits! I hate that you have to go through that. It makes everyday things so hard. I did that same thing a few weeks before I got married! No fun! I hope you heal up quickly and find a solution to your stair problem!
It really does make EVERYTHING so hard. I have to wake up Marc to help me to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I can't get myself any of my meals, I can't shower without help, I can't freaking do anything. It's seriously driving me crazy. Marc goes back to work tomorrow and that means being by myself for about 10 hours and I have no idea how I'm going cope with that.

Oh man stinks about the foot!!! UGHHHH stupid hole!! Feel better soon!!!!
Thank you.

Darn holes! They always jump out at you! I know they do for me when I'm driving!
Stupid holes. I am seriously unhappy about this whole situation.

That STINKS. :headache:

Cute toes, though! :thumbsup2
Thanks. They are very cute right now.

That stinks about your foot.:headache:

:lmao: I have to laugh at the whole "Marc coming out of the closet", makes me laugh. Nice to see you here! :goodvibes

Oh no! I hope that it heals quickly. Crutches and stairs don't sound like a good combination.

At least the trip planning is coming along. It sounds like Marc really is becoming a Disney fan.
No, they are not a good combination at all. I never want to leave my house again.

Oh, no about your foot!!! Here I was just reading along, catching up on all of your news, and wham! I feel like I fell into a hole, too! I am so, so, so sorry to hear about that! It does stink!

Love the pictures of your kitties! They always make me laugh! As does that Darth shirt! What a great find! :lmao: Those new Tevas are super adorable! I love that the black and white is a little bit dressier looking.

Feathers are all the rage here, too. Chelsea got one in Hilton Head this summer and it was the first time I had seen them. Now everyone seems to be getting them. Yours is very cute!

Okay, I laughed out loud over the moral to your Free Dining story! :rotfl: I am afraid to tell Charles about it because he would want to jump right on it, and I just don't think we should right now. Hurray for you adding nights!!! :yay:

I haven't really figured out the park plans yet, I think our days I already have planned are going to stay the same. We are toying with the new days still. I haven't really had time to play around with them. I've been too busy wallowing on the couch cursing my foot. ;)

Oh No!! Leslie your poor foot!:headache: That stinks! You should sue! Then you could take an extra-long trip to Disney!;)

Yay for booking more time! That's really a great deal! I'd call that a win-win!
I've actually talked to the owner of the building and everything and hopefully something will happen on that end of things. I'm out of work with no wages so I'm kinda freaking out. We did get a great deal and I'm really happy about it. :thumbsup2

As my DH would say

You DO have a great DH! What a guy!!
Yes, please walk very carefully. I don't wish a fractured foot on anyone, it truly is the pits.

I'm trying not to do anything but it's really hard. I pretty much can't do anything for myself.

I'm very happy that there is no surgery for me yet, the doctor did say it depends on how it heals but I'm listening and trying to not put any weight on my foot except for my heel but it is not the easiest thing to get around.

Ouch on the foot! :flower3:
I have to agree about the comments on your DH! I think it has something to do with the name.

I think so too!! Those Marcs are pretty good guys. :goodvibes

This is true. I am thankful to even get short trips, but sometimes they stress me out because there are too many choices to make about what is going to get done and what is going to be left out. I much prefer 10-11 night trips.

We will have an 8 night trip and I am QUITE happy with that. It's going to be a blast!

Melissa, now you, falling into holes. :sad2: Bad luck comes in threes, so let's hope another DISer is not getting ready to step in a hole. I hope you are feeling better.

I have had a lot of stuff going on lately and I really hope that I have hit my quota of three, I can't add another drama right now or I'm going to lose it.
