I really like that today is Oct1st - I can finally say we are cruisin next month!
Hey you know - I had 48wks to countdown and we're now at 8!!

We have passed the first stage of excitement and have entered the stress stage-packing, alterations to gown, last minute shopping etc... I imagine will re-enter the final excitement phase one week before. The anticipation of recieving the documents helped with the initial phase.

I don't know about everyone else, but I,ve had that surge of excitement for months. It started the day I booked our staterooms. The family thinks I'm nuts, but that's okay.

I still have until January.

Now! Now! Now! Now!

We are going next month, too - the Nov. 7 3-day. Two of us have the $99 special, and we are dragging along five others (three cabinsa ll together). I thought when we got back from our January cruise that I would take a break from the boards, but I've been on virtually every day since then! Now it's only a month away. Yippeeeee!

how about NOW???

We have been super busy (we are moving directly after our vacation and I've been traveling almost every week) so when I posted something earlier today and realized we're in the low 20's AND it's actually October finally, it hit me.

It is SOON and I CAN'T WAIT!!

We started at 20 weeks and are now down to 3 - that's a GREAT feeling!

LOL....I'd have to say 2 yrs ago when we booked our cruise!
The anticipation builds with each project accomplished - reserving the pre cruise hotel, reserving airline tickets, ordering BC's, purchasing ins., reserving transpo, getting photo waiver, bugging my TA w/just one more question, all the shopping and hitting those sales. It will all feel 'real' when we receive our documents and the last wk. move into panic mode w/the last minute to dos!
Once on the plane, I will breath a sigh of relief!
When I get first glimpse of 'Magic' I will probably cry!!!

I am very excited about our cruise "next month", but I have two trips to Vegas (mainly business, but lots of pleasure) before then. The first one is on Thursday, so right now I am focusing on that. Also, our house is having major renovations and so is our ski chalet, so lots of excitement and pleasure from that... I can't even imagine how excited I would be if all I had was the Disney Cruise to think of... November will be very exciting!!!!

Can I just say that when we sailed with the Magic in August, I just come back from a soccer tournament in San Diego, a trip to Niagara Falls in June and my oldest came back from Bristol, England where she was in a wedding! I totally wasn't prepared to HAVE THE BEST VACATION OF MY LIFE!!!!! If I had known what a wonderful time we would have, I WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN MORE EXCITED!!!!!! I wish you the best!

I am feeling the excitement NOW!!!! We leave for 5 days in Disney World this Friday followed by our 3 day cruise. I honestly start getting excited when my cruise documents come in. We got ours about 4 weeks ago.:)

I just made the final payment on our December cruise and realized we are down to 65 days! Of course, I can't get dh to get that excited...he doesn't show it until the day of when we are madly dashing to take our dogs to the sitters, driving to the airport, and flying East.:) My ds is already dreaming of smoothies and basketball on deck 10(?)

It started from the day we called the wedding coordinator, and now it's really ramping up! I have 2 1/2 weeks of prep-time for both the wedding AND the cruise :Pinkbounc and I can barely stand it. Every week there is at least 2 things going on in preparation and I'm starting to freak!

This afternoon I'm getting fitted for contacts. We're getting some new luggage this weekend (though he plans on us taking little and buying as we go). I have to get his birth certificate away from his mother. Breathe! Breathe! Breathe!

I feel like a Pointer Sisters song: "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it! I'm about to loose control and I think I like it! Yeah! Yeah!"

I"ve been excitied sicne we decided t ogo to WDW for our honeymoon... we booked it over a year ago and it's finally next month!!!!! YIPPEEE!!!! :D:D:D:D We are spending a week on land before cruising but I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am always excited and ready to go.
But, the big turning point is 3 weeks prior. The reason: There used to be a commercial for WDW that showed 2 little boys diligently packing their suitcase. The older boy is talking about all the fun things they will do, then proceeds to sit on the very full suitcase to close it and says "we'll be leaving in about...3 weeks."
I loved that commercial, so when 3 weeks comes, we say what the little boy said.

I go into panic mode the week before we leave, trying to get everything done.

We're going on the Nov. 7 Wonder and my excitement hit over the weekend when we got our tickets.

For us it seems to go in "peaks and valleys" for months before we cruise, then the last 10 days or so it is non-stop!

Right now the kids are getting silly with excitement, and DW and I are in high gear doing all the last minute things. This weekend our household will be charged with the electricity of excitement, and we leave at 4:30 Monday morning for WDW!!

We board the Magic one week from Saturday. :)

When the doc FINALLY arrive it seems real. You know then it is only a few weeks (OK 6-8 wks) away!:jester:
