Counter vs. Snack

My DH read somewhere on these boards that if you choose, you can get two snacks in place of a counter.

Can anyone verify if this is true? We may use all our counters, but in case we have any extras (which has happened before), we might get snacks instead.

The DDP guidelines say no. Some posters have reported they have had very mixed results. You can ask, but do not be surprised if they say no

I hadn't even heard of this whenever we've gone to WDW in the past, and that's what made me surprised to hear about it on the boards. Thanks for the quick reply.
