Hi!

Just wondering if any of you DL experts can give me a list of counter/quick service restaurants with indoor seating in DL and DCA.

I know it's a little strange, but I don't like dining outside even if it's just a quick snack.

Any info would be much appreciated. :goodvibes

At DL Plaza Inn on Main Street, Pizza Port in Tomorrowland, Village Haus in Fantasyland, and Riverbelle Terrace in Adventureland all have indoor seating.

At DCA Flo's Diner and Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe (aka Starbucks) are the only counter service places I can think of with indoor seating.

What do you consider "indoor" dining? Pizza Port has indoor, as does Riverbelle. I would consider Rancho Del Zocollo and French Market to be indoor, but they are more like a well covered patio as they do open to the sides.

In DCA, Flos and Taste Pilots have indoor seating.

Thanks for the lists.:goodvibes

I guess indoor seating is not that popular. There doesn't seem to be a lot of them.

Indoor seating to me involves walls and roof and hopefully air condition. For me, a covered patio is not indoor seating.

Thanks for the heads up. :thumbsup2

The Plaza Inn in DL has indoor seating. Test Pilots in DCa does but it is like eating in hanger.

In Disneyland we have eaten inside the Village Haus, Plaza Inn Pizza Port and maybe Carnation Cafe? It was years ago and I barely remember it, but I do remember being inside. I don't recall any other indoor counter service places.
In DCA we have only ever eaten Taste Pilots.

Thanks for your replies. :thumbsup2

So it looks like these are the only indoor seating available for counter service restaurants:

DL -Plaza Inn, Pizza Port, Riverbelle Terrace, and Village Haus

DCA - Flo's Diner, Fiddler Fifer and Practical Café, and Taste Pilots

Is that correct? Are there any others?

Its SoCal, most people enjoy the ambiance of eating outside... :cool2: weather is pretty good year around...

I agree that most do enjoy it, but I'm just not one of them even with wonderful weather.

I am taking the advice from all the posters here and not make dining reservations for lunch and try to go to the counter service for a quick lunch. But I still don't want to eat outside. So, a good compromise would be to find indoor seating. Believe me, this is going to be strange for me. Our WDW vacations have always been 2 table service dining each day. Our family enjoys our restaurant time even if it takes us 1-2 hours each time. It's part of our vacation. But it seems that DLR is different in this sense. So "when in Rome..."

My favorites are Plaza Inn (fried chicken meal) and Flo's has a really nice ambiance.
