Counter service question...

I'm trying to do some math to see if it is worth it for us to do the dining plan....

Approx does anyone know how much the avg counter service cost?

2 adults 2 children (3 & 2).

The 2 kids probably could share but not all the time.

maybe figuring a burger, fries and a drink for the adults....and a kid's meal for the kids.

Also does anyone know the range for the snacks? Like mickey bars and maybe popcorn?

The two year old will not be on the plan - the dining plan applies to persons age 3 and over only. If you buy them their own kids' meal you will need to pay for that whether your family uses the plan or not. The child can eat free at any buffet or all you can eat restaurant, and you can share your food with them.

At a guess adult CS meals with drink and dessert cost about $12 and children's about $6-7.

Snacks will run you $3-4 each.

Is your 2 year old a big eater?

We used the dining plan when our kids were 2 & 3. DS was 3 and a big eater - he ate all his meals. I am not one to eat an entree and dessert at every meal, and my kids eat well at home, so she was fine with sharing my food at the time.

It was worth the $3 or so to pay OOP for her own snack. There's no way I want to listen to her howl until one of us shared some ice cream with her.
