Counter service- more of a sit down restaurant.

Hi

I know that Pizzafari has the special family dining experience. What other restaurants are counter service DDP but offer more of a sit down experience?

ABC Commissary and Be Our Guest you can get counter service reservations for some meals. None of them are a true sit down experience where waiters fully serve you. In some cases they drop your food at your table but you still get your own drinks, silverware, etc.

These are the only ones I can think of other than Pizzafari. You are right in that they are not TS experiences, but CS with a little extra along with an ADR to reserve your spot.

The Polite Pig and Wolfgang Puck Express in DS deliver the food to your table.

Satuli Canteen in AK. Starts out as a QS to order but then you sit down & eat on a real plate with real silverware, not throwaway plastic. The cup is still paper to-go (and refillable), but its a real step up to have real utensils.

ETA: Flametree BBQ at AK. The food & experience are all QS, but the view is to die for. Where else can you dine lake side with a view of Mt. Everest?

Also Restaurantasaurus in AK currently has the burgers and sundaes where you order the food at the counter but they bring it to you similar to BOG. You have to get your own drinks.

To us Be Our Guest is more a cross between sitdown and counter service. We ate lunch there and you order your meal from a kiosk at the entrance, get your own beverage and silverware and find your own seat. Disney employes bring you your food when it is ready. It seemed more like sitdown you associate with other restaurants. Haven't eaten at every disney restaurant, but of the ones we have eaten at, that is the only one we noticed setup this way.
