Counter Service Meals

I would like honest opinions please, what should I expect from Counter Service meals, as far as taste/quality of food. I'll be honest, McDonald's, Burger King, Hardees, Wendy's, I get a stomach ache if I eat at one of those places. Now for my neck of the woods, (NO ONE LAUGH PLEASE) Perkins', Country Kitchen, those are nicer places to eat, and I don't get sick off the food. Are c.s. meals at WDW similar to what Perkins would serve?

If you look at the menus on AllEarsNet You will find all the WDW menus, including sit-down, counter service and carts.

There is much more than hamburgers.

Sushi & Tempora at Teppanyaki
Chinese at the Lotus Blossum
THe Noodle Bar in Tomorrowland MK
Meatloaf - 50s PT
Great Italian - Mama Melrose
The COBB salad - Brown Derby
Love the wraps and salads at Tangarine Cafe
Believe me you wont be getting Mickey D meals unless you go to one at DTD or by the AS.
The choices for counter service and full service are endless.

California Grill is one of the top restaurants in Florida. Flying Fish and Citricos are not that far behind.

Bang for your buck places like the Trails End, Ohanas or Whispering Canyon are both fun and the food plentiful and good. No burgers and fries at these places.

Want a good steak - Yachtsmans STeakhouse or Concourse Steakhouse

Definitely what the others have said, check out the menus. There is a wide variety of food available. I'm a burger and fries person and I think the burger and fries at the counter service are much better than what you get at McDonald's, BK, Wendy's, etc. There's something for everyone though. I've tried several other kinds of food at the counter service places and it was all great. My personal favorite are the bowls at Nine Dragons counter service in China at Epcot. Very good.

One of my favorite places to eat in MK is counter service. Columbia Harbour House is great and is way more than burgers. Check out the menus and read the boards and you ususally will be ok.

you will find that the food is a few steps above what you would find at a reg fast food place. plus you can always find some fresh fruit and salads too. there is plenty of variety.
