Does anyone have any suggestions on CS at all 4 parks. Any hidden Gems??? Which are your favorites and why??? Thanks for your help. :thumbsup2 :surfweb:

Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland in MK has a GREAT Turkey Pannini! It also has a good variety of other "usuals" to make everyone in the group happy. T

he only complaint I had was they the sandwich was served with Baked Chips, which I can't stand! I don't know if I could have asked to sub. with fries or carrot sticks.

I appreciate that Disney is trying to help us Pooh sized people eat healthy, but I wish they would offer us a choice. When I am on vacation I don't even want to think about healthy! :lmao: I wanted regular, greasy chips!!!

Ack. I suppose the panini could be good, but I'd steer clear of the pizza at Pinocchio Village Haus. Heartburn City!

Animal Kingdom has two of the best CS eateries: Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ.

Epcot has a couple of great ones too: Sunshine Seasons and (from everything I've read) Tangierine Cafe.

I don't really enjoy any of the CS at either Magic Kingdom or Disney-MGM Studios. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to do CS meals.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is really good; desserts are out of this world.

We learned after some bad experiences in MK at lunch to just hop the Monorail over to a resort and have CS there instead. It's more peaceful and better quality.

Though others have complained about it, we didn't mind ABC Commissary in MGM.

Tusker House is pretty good in AK.

Here are our favorite CS locations in the parks:

Animal Kingdom -- FlameTree BBQ
Magic Kingdom -- Pecos Bill's
EPCOT -- Tangierine Cafe
MGM -- Still trying to find a decent CS!!!

We used the plan for lunches at Caseys Corner in MK and Pizza Planet in MGM. We found both to be great values.

At CC we got fries, a large hot dog (with all toppings at the bar) a soda and a brownie each. The total for 4 was $42.43 and everything was very good.

At PP we had another very good meal. We each got a pizza, salad, soda and cookie or rice krispie treat. the total for 4 was $51.64.

We're looking forward to going back to Flame Tree in AK -- it was fabulous. I've yet to find anything I love at MK, but we're also dealing with one child with food allergies, and that just makes CS more challenging anyway.

One to avoid: the CS in "Mexico" (is it Cantina de San Angel?). It was just *dreadful*, lol. The CS in France was yummy and sharing a CS fruit and cheese plate there was a great family break and a way to stretch us to a slightly "off" time for our next TS.

ABC Commisary in MGM wasn't as bad as I expected -- they even had a reasonably yummy curry and a Cuban presser sandwich as options.

I second this list! ... seriouly ... these are also my fav. picks...!

My favorite CS's are in the WS at Epcot. We actually like the one at Mexico. If possible I would eat all the CS's here.
At MK we like Pecos Bill
MGM - Yuck
AK - Tusker House was very good.

.

Which monorail resorts have good CS? I'm picturing a fastfood type place near their arcade room but maybe I'm missing something.

Here are our picks:

AK: Tusker House (the chicken sandwich is great)
MK: Columbia Harbour House
MGM: Ok, so we don't have a favorite. We usually end up eating at the Toy Story Pizza Planet because the kids enjoy it. The pizza is decent. The crowds at noon are crazy though.
Epcot: Again no clear favorite for us.

My whole family LOVES Cosmic Ray's in MK - several choices, decent toppings bar and large servings.

Don't flame me, but we also like Backlot Express at MGM.

We haven't done any CS at AK, but from reviews, we'll probably do Pizzafari or Tusker House next trip.

At EPCOT, we like Sunshine Seasons for the same reasons we like Cosmic Ray's - my favorite there is the Chicken Caesar Salad!

MK- Love Columbia Harbor House- yummy ham and brocoli slaw sandwich-bread is outstanding! Good fish and chicken fingers..

AK- Tusker House or Flame Tree

Ep- Sunshine Seasons- so many good choices and deserts---YUMMMM
Fish and chips in UK
MGM- none known :confused3

Bev

Epcot- Tangerine and Sunshine Season (lots of choices)
MK- Pinnochios is a tradition for us. The panini and salad are both good. Casey's is also a tradition.
MGM- Nothing stands out. We ate at Pizza Planet. It was good, and the kids enjoyed it.

i was thinking of saving my mug :(
what is body glide
will you do all my trip planning ?
going in may
thanks

ANother vote for the mexican counter service in EPCOT. It's our favorite. My family eats there at least once every trip! :thumbsup2

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House - go upstairs to eat, nice and peaceful

Animal Kingodm: Tusker House (good roast chicken and salmon)
FlameTree BBQ (good BBQ ribs)

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

MGM: Backlot Express
