Counter service in the parks.......

MK: Pecos Bill's

Epcot: Mexico or Morocco

MGM: whatever I'm close to, I don't see the difference.

AK: Tusker House for breakfast and Flame Tree for lunch.

Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) in EPCOT! Not only my fav, also my DH's and DS8's fav!! :thumbsup2

MK- Pecos Bills or Cosmic Rays

Epcot- Mexican cantina or the Land foodcourt

MGM- have yet to have a favorite counter service

AK- Tusker House is great. Flame Tree is supposed to be yummy too- I'm trying it next month!

Wonderful... a food question... my favorite subject.

I cannot go thru Adventureland without tacos from the place opposite POC (never can remember the name of it).

Flame Tree BBQ is worth a trip to AK all by itself. In fact, DS and I took turns a few years ago driving to AK and getting dinner "to go" for the family there. (Can you imagine a theme park restaurant serving as a local family's take out diner? :rotfl: We gave that up after a few times- too much lost time getting in and out of the park. )

I like the burger joint just around the corner from RRC in MGM. (I really have to learn some eatery names.)

Eating is my favorite thing to do in WDW- unfortunately it shows... :guilty:

Flame Tree was a standout. So tender the meat is falling off the bone BBQ ribs. Delicious.

Get a seat down in back with a nice view of the Expedition Everest mountain.

Also check out Tangerine cafe in Morocco in Epcot. Try the lamb and chicken dish.

Most of the places I favored closed down... or were renovated I mean. I don't have as much expertise as others around here, but..

MK: I like Columbia Harbour House
Epcot: Tangeriene Cafe is really good
MGM: Nothing strikes my fancy here
AK: I've only ate at Tusker House and it was faboulous!

Epcot: the land seasons food court

AK: Tusker House in Africa

MK: Didnt really care for Pinocchio Village House

MGM: Read so many bads, we had an early TS dinner instead of doing a cs lunch here.

MK Columbia Harbour House
Epcot Mexico cantina
AK Flame Tree Barbecue
MGM-You know I can't ever remember eating here-I know I must have, I require sustenance to walk to the food court :rotfl2: Obviously they're all so memorable.......

Here's mine... :goodvibes
MK - Pecos Bill (good burgers and wraps)

Epcot - Love Sunshine Seadons!!! Lots of choices and very yummy. Great desserts..

MGM - We usually go to Backlot Express. The burgers are pretty good and there is a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich with roasted red peppers on multi-grain bread that is real good.

AK - Best counter service in the world!!! (IMO) Tusker House (great salmon)
Flame Tree BBQ - good everything

Flame Tree BBQ @ AK
Can't think of anything else that stands out for me in the other parks!!! :rotfl:

MK - Pecos Bill and Casey's

Epcot - Mexico (Margaritas!) and Germany (Beer!) and France (Crepes with choclolate!)

AK - Tusker House

MGM - Never eaten a CS meal here...

MK - Columbia Harbour House

AK - Tusker House (we had breakfast here - yummmmmmm!) - worked out great...and it is nice and cool if you're going during the summer!.

Epcot - Mexican Cantina

MGM - last trip did only a TS (to me your best option at this park), several years ago ate at the CS near Star Tours and this wasn't very good.

El Pirata y el Perico is my sister's favorite, though I'm not exactly sure why! It's just a small menu and seems to be closed during the slow season.

In AK, I love Pizzafari for the hot deli sandwich. I've eaten at all 3 CS resturaunts, and yet I keep going back to Pizzafari. Also, on a really hot day, there's nothing like their frozen lemonade.

MK Columbia Harbor House is fantastic because of the upstairs dining room that is always empty and really cool :sunny: in the hot summer. But... we stumbled into Pecos Bills last summer and wow... wasn't expecting the burger bar. Really good!

AK by far is the Flame tree... and yet again the seating there is superb!

Epcot... for some reason we always wind up at Electric Umbrella?? Really need to do the Mexico Pavillion...

MGM... ugh... pack a lunch. Maybe someday they will get a good CS in there. :sad2:

Our favs are:

MK: Cosmic Ray's (we like El Pirata y el Perico, but is is rarely open)

EPCOT: Cantina de San Angel with a rainbow margarita from the stand next door

MGM: Cataline Eddie's (we prefer the sit downs here)

AK: Pizzafari

DTD: Earl of Sandwich with a Ghirardelli sundae for dessert

MK: Columbia Harbour House. Great selections that are not your ordinary CS meals.

AK: Tusker House.

MGM: Toy Story Pizza Planet, although we prefer TS in MGM and rarely eat CS there.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, followed closely by Tangerine Cafe. Cantina de San Angel is also pretty good.

MK - I love Columbia Harbor House; it is a nice change from a typical burgers/hot dogs CS place.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

MGM - never had a memorable CS meal there. I typically stick to TS at MGM

EPCOT - usually eat TS at EPCOT, but I LOVE the bakery at Norway. I've had good open-faced sandwiches there and fabulous desserts.
