Hello!!

DD & I are going to DLP in the summer holidays for the first time (thanks to the new school holiday rules).

In an effort to mitigate the impact of higher crowd levels than we are used to :crowded: I was thinking of eating our main meal at lunchtime and then grabbing a counter service meal in the evening.

Does anyone know how late the counter service places stay open? Hakuna Matata chicken strips mmmmmmmm......

Thanks in advance for any replies

:thanks:

I don't think Hakuna Matata stays open very late, we only managed to find it open once or twice on our last summer trip and I think it was at lunch time.

Cafe Hyperion and Caseys Corner stay open late though.

Can't help with the recent counter service times as last two trips we had sit down in the evenings ...... but wanted to say it's a really good idea to have your main meal at lunchtime as it gives you a very welcome break from the crowds and (hopefully!) the heat. We've done it a few times and it works really well when the park's open late.

To be honest last year Casey's Corner seemed to be open late evey day, but with the others it was still hit and miss, whether they were open at all, i expected all the cs restaurants to be open all the time as it was peak season and missed geting my churros from Fuente del Oro on the last day as a result :/

^^yes! Counter service is disappointing to be honest. Hakuna Matata seemed to close at around 6, and my cravings were thrawted a lot!!
