Counter Service Dining Plan for one night?

We have one night in a studio before an 8 day stay in a 2 bedroom at BWV. Wondering if I should get the counter service for that one day. We would not be able to use it until the morning as we arrive late at night. We're also getting TIW for use later in the week and heading to the grocery store.

Anyone just get it for one day... worth it?

Probably not worth it. I'd just pay OOP in your situation. You could probably pick up your TIW card that next morning (after ariving late the night before) so you'd have one, maybe two meals that wouldn't be covered with TIW? Meh, not worth the hassle to get the dining plan in this instance, IMHO.

I think it would be worth it as you will get refillable mugs that you can use for your entire, 9-night stay. That, coupled with the cost of the two meals and one snack, should definitely make it a good value.

Is the studio also at BWV? If so, I'd give it serious consideration. You can get some good QS meals at EPCOT. We like the options at Sunshine Seasons & Morroco. You'll have until midnight of the studio check out day to use the credits and as mentioned, you'd also get a mug.

We did that on one stay. We were going to be getting mugs and were staying at Jambo so we had Mara right there - yum! But that was when there were 2 snacks included and I think it was a little better value. I don't know if I would do it now that they've decreased when you get.

It works for me since I buy mugs anyway. Mostly as souvenirs! I don't drink enough resort soda to even put a dent in the price!

I usually break even at least with the meals. I'll get a cookie for dessert and it's portable for later on or the next day.
