Countdowns!!

Could someone direct me to any threads that ya'll have had with something really fun? I want to do some type of countdown this year. Some of our Disney trips are surpises and this year my 2 youngest kiddos want to know all about all of it! I am not really creative, and lots of my friends from other threads have learned a lot from here. So,that being said...lead on!!!! We are looking at the first part of December 09 for our next trip. I have no idea what our options for calendars or countdown chains are--so any help will be appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Check in some of Bababear (Mel's) threads. I believe she makes countdown chains that are really cute!

These are adorable. I have been searching for something pirate theme to do for our trip to CBR in August. I have some pirate stickers for DS to put on each day as we count down. Can these be made for over 30 days? I really wanted to count down the last 50 days?
