Countdown for Kids

Thought of a fun idea for our kids to have their own countdown to our vacation: we all made a paper chain with the number of days left until we leave for Disney. We even used the traditional Mickey colors: red, black, yellow and white.

Every night the three kids take turns tearing one link off. They think its just great!

Anyone else have any ideas on what they do to count down the days.

We did the paper chain when we had 100+ days left. It went a long way around our living room. We are now down to 51 days and it takes up less than one wall!! We do this for all of our vacations, holidays and sometimes even the kids birthdays.
