Countdown for Kids

We are leaving in 30 days for Disney and I'd like to do a countdown for my daughter... Any ideas? Thanks!

I have to give credit to someone else on the boards (though for the life of me, I can not remember her name). She bought a bag of hershey kisses and each of her kids took turns eating one each day that went by counting down their trip. As they watched the bowl empty, they could see just how close they were getting to their trip.

We always make a paper chain (connect looped strips of colored paper) and then rip a link for each day. Our children enjoy the milestones of when the chain gets to be shorter than they are. We each pick a color of paper, make the chain as a family, and then rip one link together each night before the trip.
