Would love some kind of artwork for our cruise...a badge, logo, or something.[/QUOTE]

Have a couple of ideas in powerpoint saved as .jpg but can't figure out how to attach them??? Have tried copy/paste - have tried IMG in front and behind and both?? Anybody have an idea?

I thought I read somewhere we have a facebook group? That might work but have to know name of group - will read back

You have to upload them to somewhere like photobucket and then use the IMG link they provide. You can email me if you like and I can do it (kimberly DOT sloane AT gmail DOT com.

I love the idea of "Countdown Cruisers"...I think I'll change the title of thread to include this. :thumbsup2

Pictures posted, new title for our thread, and the 1st post is also updated with our latest members. :thumbsup2

Hi Countdown Cruisers,

I love the name!

Did I read recently that there is a Facebook group? What is it called and how can I join?

Just wondering...other than Texasgirl's daughter and mine, will there be any other girls 14 years old at the time of cruising? I see several 13 year old girls. At what age do Edge and Vibe split?

Finally, we are from Toronto...yes, the city with crazy floods and a crack-smoking mayor :rotfl2: . We will be dropping off a rental car the morning we set sail. For those familiar with the port, which car rental companies offer a free shuttle from rental drop-off depot to the port? Thanks!

We are also interested in joining a FEE group. There are 7 of us in 2 cabins. Are you still accepting people?

My brother has decided to join us. So, it will be my nephew (13), my sister (47), my brother (39), and me (43) participating in the FE. Thanks for the idea links. I'm so excited.:cheer2:

Echo the cheer for more cruisers! I'm excited too that there appear to be a lot of kids near my Children's ages. My daughter will have just turned 14 a month prior (Will be in 8th grade at time of cruise). My son will be 8 years old.

It will be the 3 of us. You'll recognize us by the big smiles on our faces. :)

JJ - Cool another 14 yr old. I think the split to older teen club is 15? I know my daughter was planning on going to the younger one...not the High School age offering.

I don't think there are any rental companies that offer a shuttle service in Galveston. Most people (this is from my memory :lmao:) on our previous cruises have been using Enterprise one-way and then taking a cab from the Enterprise office to the cruise terminal. Below is a link to a great thread that was started when DCL came to Galveston and has a ton of information. :thumbsup2 Unfortunately transportation to and around the Galveston area from the Houston airports is NOT great, but there's lots of discussion in this thread though about options. :goodvibes

The facebook group is www.facebook.com/groups/237340369738767/. I added that to the first post as well for future members.

Yes, we are. I've added you to the list on the front page.

I'm not sure of the age transitions off the top of my head either, but probably easily found on the Disney website. I know my 13 year old (also going to 8th grade) will be staying in the younger one.

We are soooo excited to be involved in the group. Didn't know about it for our 1st Disney cruise, so we really wanted to join one for our 2nd. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There are 4 adults (3 female, 1 male) and 3 kids, 8 yr old boy, 12 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy.

Thank you for the Galveston info. Will scope out car rental and drop off options. We're actually not flying into Houston. We're arriving in Dallas a week earlier and enjoying a Texas road trip before the cruise. Always wanted to visit TX but never got there. Very excited!

That sounds fun. Hopefully the logistics of dropping off the rental car won't be too bad. :goodvibes

Let us Texans know if you need any "hints and tips" on where to go and what to see on your road trip;) I have lived in Texas my whole life and know lots of great places to stop and see or eat at::yes::

Going to College "orientation" this next week in Lubbock  It is the same distance from Dallas to Lubbock as it is Dallas to Houston!!! Yes, Texas really IS big!!!

We are booked for the NYE cruise and we are excited. It will be my husband and kids (9 y/o B/G twins), my mom and my brother. I have to admit I haven't spent much time planning yet. Mostly joined here to get advice on excursions when we are in Cozumel.:)

We have stopped in Cozumel many, many times and when we do, we just like to relax at a beach club and do a whole lot of nothing. This link has them all listed:

http://www.cozumelmycozumel.com/Pages/CozumelCruiseBeachClubs.htm

We always go to Paradise.

That being said, now that our youngest is a 10, we may be ready to do a fun excursion in Cozumel...sitting on a tour bus doesn't do it for any of us.

WomanRN, I may take you up on your offer and pick your brain closer to Christmas. While hubby and I are very interested to see some of the historical landmarks, our kids (14 and 10) will need some fun family stuff.

Alright...listen up (errr....read up) - Fish Extender Members....Let's hear from you.....

1. How do you want to divide us? Or do you want to divide us at any point? I've seen groups divided by members...at x number of people, we add a second group, etc....and I've seen it done by rooms....at a certain number of people, we start a second group, etc.

2. How about a deadline? I would say the latest of mid November? I'm ok with a little earlier if you guys want?

Let's hear some feedback and start getting this Fish Extender group organized! :-)

FYI...we are now at at least 15 rooms...

Please check your name on the fish extender list (post 1)...If you have more than one room, let me know and how it's divided so we can have an accurate count!!!
