Countdown Chain

Hi all you talented DISigners! I am in search of a countdown chain for our upcoming trip. My children are very excited and want to start a chain at 150 days out. I was wondering if anyone still did these. I did one for our last trip in 2009 and it really helped my DS to see how much longer until we go. TIA

They are cute but I was wondering the same thing... what do you do with them. How are they a countdown chain. I'd love to do a count down to our trip with my dd.

The way that they work is that you cut out the strip and roll it to make it circular and then tape, glue or staple to hold together. Then take the next strip and insert into the first and roll and tape. Continue with all of them until you have a completed chain.

Is that as clear as mud?

They are like the Christmas countdown chains the kids make in school. If that helps.
