Thank you thank you to everyone!!! I am back home now and happy about it. Everything ended up working out okay - DS did sleep almost all the way there and since he sleeps very very deeply, I was able to vent everything to DH and just get it all out and then some. He is an excellent sounding board . Thank you again for your kind words and hugs. I'm a stress writer and it always makes me feel so much better to get it out. Plus DS was quite possibly the cutest little thing I've ever seen and to see him being so excited made it all worth it.

I was hoping you would update us on how it went for you.

I'm glad that you were able to hold up as well as you did. You're right sometimes just getting it all out makes it bearable when it actually happens.

Do you have a pictures of your DS in his tux? Those are some of my favorites of my DSs when they were little.
