couldn't find the book

i have an update on being arrested for an over due library book. we couldn't find the book at the library but it has been paid of course. so i will have teach my dd some responsibility by making her work at the library till what we have paid is paid off. she is also borrowing her prom dress since I won't buy her one now. she felt so bad about what happened that she didn't even ask for me to buy her one she just borrowed instead i am proud of her for that. have to go right now but be back later.

no my dh thinks I should but I am more of a private person then that and I just feel funny about doing it. I don;t know if i will or not. but thanks for asking.

I have been in a similiar place except it was 100% my fault. I moved and boxed up the books and forgot about them.
One day a constable showed up at my door. Even after returning the books I paid out close to 1000 dollars in fines.

Wow, I must have missed this thread. Were you really arrested? What was the value of the book? I lost a library book that we just couldn't find. I called the library and asked if I could order a used replacement on Amazon, since the library book was used. They were thrilled to have me do it!
