Could you help me with character etiquette?

I'm wondering what my best approach would be to get a couple of pictures with a character. Can you ask for pictures of individuals and then a group (my group is 3- 2 kids and 1 adult)? Another approach would be that we could go up to them one at a time and not get us all in a shot. For the most part we would all just go together, but I'm curious what my best approach should be to not irk the cast members or people behind us in line. Do you have any pet peeves when it comes to character meets? Thank you!

I don't see why this would be a problem. DH usually hangs behind and takes a few pictures of me with characters first (I'm more into Disney than he is by a long shot! haha), and then once I've had a few I ask the character if I could get one more pic with DH and myself. No one has ever seemed irked by this. I wouldn't be irked by this either. :)

Totally fine! I've done this even with large groups of friends - about 20 people, on multiple occasions. So your little group won't be a problem! Just mention it the the attendant and they'll let you know if they want you to do the individual photos first and then the group, or vis-versa.

No one in line should have any issues with it - this is a pretty normal request. What would be annoying would be if you did endless different combinations of photos - individuals, then kid A & B first, then B & C, then you and A, then you, B, & C, etc. But just individuals and a group - no worries!

Have fun!
