Hi All,

My Fastpass+ window is fast approaching and I'm trying to nail down an itinerary. I could use feedback please.
A little about us: DH and I are traveling with our 5 year old DD princess lover who likes rides and our 2 year active DS . We are cramming ourselves into a studio at BLT so we can be close to MK

Sat. arrival day nothing.
Sunday:MK CRT Res at 8:15. Tour until 1 and go back for naps/pool
Monday: DHS. I chose this mostly for the Frozen Sing-a-long & Little Mermaid ride. Current plan is to tour 9-1. We are going during the Epcot flower festival. Do you think we would be better off changing DHS for Epcot?
Tuesday: MK 9 until 1, back for nap/rest. Chef Mickey's Dinner, Maybe go back for Wishes w/ DD
Wed: Rest day. Considering dinner at Epcot, but that may defeat the purpose of rest
Thursday: AK Have ressie for Tusker house breakfast at 8:05, but considering cancelling since we have Chef Mickeys w/ face characters on Tues.
Friday: MK , 8:30 BBB and Parade.
Sat. departure-nothing.

My DH does not want me to over-do it as he thinks the kids will get cranky. Am I taking it too easy? Should I change anything? Thanks for any feedback!

There is no Little Mermaid ride in DHS, there is a show. Just wanted to be sure you knew that. :) There is a Little Mermaid ride in MK.
I've never been to the flower festival but we loved Epcot, and I think there are some pretty great things for little kids in Epcot. If I had a choice between DHS and Epcot I would choose Epcot. My then 7 year old daughter LOVED Soarin, my then 9 year old LOVED Test Track. We all enjoyed browsing the World Showcase and the kids loved trading pins with the cast members from the different countries and interacting at the KidCot stations. The Finding Nemo ride is fun and they can do Turtle Talk with Crush. Lots of fun stuff for kids (and my girls loved Akershus). Epcot has a lot of great restaurants too.
Tusker House has a great breakfast. If food quality matters to you I have heard that Chef Mickeys has awful food in comparison.
I think you should leave room to take it as it comes. Would your dh mind going back to the room with your 2 year old and resting while you did some park time with DD? You may want to do more, and you may not but I think overall your plan looks good. I will say that Epcot is definitely a must do for us. We did two days at Epcot and had fun both of them.

Thank you! That is super helpful. I'm really torn on the Epcot question. Elsa and Ariel are DD's favorite characters, but it seems that Epcot is overall nicer.

If you're only touring from 9-1 every day, I'd skip the rest day and do Epcot, personally.

Epcot has always been my son's favorite part and I think it can be a good place to meet princesses with slightly shorter lines (I've run into sleeping beauty many times in France with no lines). There's also s princess dinner in Norway (which my iPad keeps autocorrecting to bizarre things so I can't type the name). I also think pooh and tigger in England are some of the best meet and greets!

the one thing I would be prepared for is for the kids to fall asleep on way back to room and then not sleep again but still be tired. how do they do if they fall asleep in car on way home at naptime? there is a big difference between being at home and just taking them to their rooms and going from park and getting back to room without them falling asleep. thus it did not work for us going back to room for naps but it may got your family. just be prepared if it does not work out the way you are planning

Honestly, your son may not have much to do at EPCOT after Imagination and Living Seas. My two boys could have cared less about the rest of the park (especially) World Showcase.

MK and DHS were the bigger hits of our trip. DHS surprised me, for them.

When is your trip? I thought CRT was closed for refurb and placed for the time being at GF? Maybe it will be opened back up by your trip.

I think if you stick to 4 hours a day of park touring, you can eliminate the rest day, and instead make it a "sleep in" day and just relax in the morning and book some FP+ at EP for after-nap touring and then dinner.

I loved the magic of 4 hours of touring and then leaving. It worked great for us our first trip. Your plans don't look too packed, seem to have the exact right balance of MK and other parks, focus being on MK at their ages, of course.

You know your family best, but, for us that many breakfasts would wear us down. We are RD people, but at the same time, the pressure of the ADR is kind of a rush-rush feeling in the morning that might add to your husband's idea of an over-do, and you've got that scheduled for like nearly half your mornings there.

Thanks everyone! This is great! I hadn't thought about the possibility of no napping once they fall asleep on the way home. I like the idea of the "sleep in" day instead of the complete rest day. I'm also going to ax one of the ADRs

CRT is in April. I hope they are done by then!!
