This evening, I took Thumper out of her box for her evening romp. As usual, I spent a few minutes sitting on the couch with her, holding her in my arms. Sabrina, who was sleeping in another chair in the living room wakes up and sees me with Thumper. Now, this is a normal sight...she has seen me with the rabbit many times and normally, simply ignores me. She has never shown any hostility towards Thumper, but never shown any signs of affection either! 
Thumper is normally the one chasing the cat!! 
Tonight, as I am sitting on the couch with Thumper, Sabrina comes over and much to my shock, jumps up and lays on my lap as well!! 
I was dumbfounded! The cat sniffed the rabbit, the rabbit sniffed the cat....and I sat there quietly trying to get the attention of the rest of my family!! I would of had someone take a picture, but I was so afraid to disturb the 2 of them.
Could this be a good sign for a great 2004??!! Let's hope so!!
