Could someone with AP check hotel rates for me?

We won't be getting our APs until January and I'm trying to plan an on-site stay for my DD's birthday. Looking at PPH or DLH for check in on Friday March 10, check out Tuesday March 14. There will be 5 of us.

Call the hotel and ask for the rates. You'll have to call to book anyway, and I wouldn't wait until January, the rates today won't be the same then.

I would make the reservation as soon as you can (I agree about calling the hotel and asking for the rates). The Natural Product Expo (granted it's at the Anaheim Convention Center) is during that period (3/10-3/12) and a huge convention. I would not be surprised if they impact hotel availability throughout the area that weekend. At this point, I haven't seen any AP offers for next Spring yet, so the rates that are coming up through the AP link look like they're the same as the ones that anyone can get (around $500+ for the DLH).

Recently when inquiring over the phone about AP rates , now that they offer special offers they no longer do the previos 10% off , etc.
So basically the offers they release ARE the AP rates. Now you can book early and always try to re-book if an offer comes out or see if it can be applied to an existing however.

I was there that week this year when the Natural Products Expo was going on and trust me-they didn't need to offer anything special to fill the hotels and the park that week . I'd be surprised if they offered anything much special for AP holders.

Agreed. I obsessively scanned the AP Hotel rate availability calendar they have on their website, and one day roughly a year ago - nothing. Zero days with AP rates. I kept checking back but nothing showed up. Just for kicks I'll look at that same calendar now and then thinking well, maybe they are posting secret AP rates and it will magically show up, but alas I am only fooling myself...
