could someone please walk me through on how to get pre tsa

Check in 24 hours before you flight and look at your boarding pass, if it doesn't say TSAPRE on it, call JB and have them troubleshoot it. You don't want to be trying to figure that out while at the airport.
It doesn't affect you, but for others that get Pre: Add the KTN to all of your frequent flyer accounts, but you will have to add it to any flights that you already have booked, adding the number to your profile won't add it to any already ticketed trips, only new trips. And if you have any business travel through Concur, whatever Concur has in your profile will overwrite what's in your FF profile. I just had this happen to me and had to readd the number for an upcoming business trip.
I was on the phone for 29 minutes with Jetblue while I had the representative add it to seven one way flights. I have flights booked into 2025. :rotfl: I apologized for all the extra work and he said don't worry, I've done it for 20 flights before.

Two things to keep in mind, when I got pre-check, I had to give my middle name. As far as I know, it needs to be on the boarding pass or pre-check may not link up. Also, because I had already booked the flight before I got pre-check, I had to call to have pre-check added to my boarding pass. This was with Southwest, not sure if it’s the same across the board.
I had to do the same with Delta. I actually had to change my name on the current reservation I had and also in my Skymiles account for future bookings. It required a phone call.

can the form be filled out at the airport
Sometimes it can sometimes it can't. There is usually a place online to book an appointment and fill out the forms online. If there are no other appointments available, they may not let you apply. If there are open appointments, you're going to sit at one of their computers to fill out the information anyway. Why not do it in advance and book an appointment?
