I have just heard that the room block minimums are no longer active. Is this true?

It would be a great weight off my mind to know that I don't have 25 nights to fill!

Are you having a wishes or escape wedding? I'm having a wishes wedding and the room block is still in place for my september wedding. I don't know about escape weddings. HTH

I just signed my LOA for a Wishes wedding September 2011 and the room block was still required.

My room block was waived. I had gotten two free nights from signing my contract so I didn't want the free night that the room block gave. Besides we would have never filled it. Just tell your sales person this. Mine immediately said it was no problem and it was never brought up again.

I had to fill 10 rooms and I didn't get my free night, but that was over a year ago now
