Could someone clue me in on how to redeem Disney Visa points?

I just noticed that we have just over 500 Disney Visa points and I want to call and use them for an upcoming trip. Do they send you a gift card? How does it work?

you can call or do it on the website. Yes they will send you a card to use same as cash in most WDW/Dl places. The card will have an expiration date and you have to use all of the money before that date or they will disappear, never to be seen again. My last card had a 12/06 date.

yep..I just got my card.
I called and it arrived about 5 days later.
They expire the year after you order them....so all ordered by the end of the year have 12/06 on them. If you order in Jan it will have 12/07.

and you use the card they send you as a credit card... they will even tell you the remaning balance after your transaction.. i'm sticking racking up the dollars for our Jan 06 cruise..

Thanks, guys, that's so easy!! I use the card for everything, including business expenses, so although I've only had it for a short time, the points added up quickly. I wish I would have ordered this card a long time ago!!
