Could really use some info for a September trip!

Hi everybody!

I could really use some help from you Disney Pros regarding a spur of the moment trip I am trying to plan for September. My sister just decided her family (DH, DD) wants to take a trip to Disney and she already has ressies for all of us at Cinderella's Castle for a character breakfast so our dates have to coincide with that. We have been talking about taking a joint family vacation together for a long time so we definately want to be there when they are.

My family (DH, DD and myself) were planning a trip for November. I figured I had some time to plan! Now I feel unbelievably rushed! I am going to be getting at least one adult AP and was hoping to get the AP rate for a moderate resort. Now I'm not sure if I will be able to get a decent code for September.

What is the best course of action? Call every day til I get a good rate? We have never stayed onsite before so this is very intimidating!!

Any help would be appreciated!!

I would check out www.mousesavers.com and read her information on AP codes...some rules have changed but she'll go through the whole shabang. I would recommend a 2BR suite at OKW for you and your family...when our family went with my sister's family this worked out really well and it was less expensive than the other options...also you might even come out ahead renting DVC points at that time of year...you can check out the how-to's on that on the forums here marked DVC info or something along those lines.

I would call the sponsor travel agency and see what they can do for you. September codes are already out and they might have some luck finding you something at a moderate resort for your time frame. Their services are free of charge.

Thank you for your replies. My sister has to stay onsite, but we have decided not to. Since this is a spur of the moment trip we are going to just get a place offsite so we can save for our big trip!
