Once upon a time I was reading the restaurant reviews and I saw one where the reviewer had a cotton candy milkshake (it included a pic). I showed this to my DH who loves cotton candy stuff and he said it looked and sounded wonderful. For the life of me, I can't remember where this was served. Soooooo..fellow dis members I was wondering if you could refresh my memory, if any of you know where my DH can get a cotton candy milkshake, we would love to know. And if you've had one before, how was it? THANKS :)

DK for sure but my guess would be Whispering Canyon Cafe.
I know they have Bubble Gum and she listed a good 10 flavors and told DS he could have 1 of each as long as he didn't hurl at the table and made it to he bathroom.

There is also a stand at the Studios over by RnRC that sells an ice cream swirl thing that comes in cotton candy flavor. Not a shake but it was pretty good!

More good information from the Dis! A cotton candy milkshake sounds YUMMY! Thanks for asking and thanks to those who answered. :thumbsup2

We were at T-Rex in January and I had a drink that had Cotton Candy on top of it. That is what the picture showed. The drink with the cotton candy on top. SO the waitress bring the glass with the cotton candy in it and before I could even say anything she pours the drink over it and the cotton candy disappears. :mad:I couldn't believe it. I didn't get a picture or really get to enjoy it. The picture showed the cotton candy on top of the drink, now maybe it would dissolve once on top of the drink, but I at least wanted to see it for a few seconds and try it. It was a good drink. I will try one again in May and tell them not to pour the drink on top, that I will do it.

I was hoping it wasn't just WCC, DH would not like going there. He isn't into all the 'commotion' like with the ketchup bottles and stuff. he's very shy. Guess if he wants a CC milkshake he will have to get over his shyness :)

We've eaten there twice and are very shy ourselves. If you don't egg them on, they'll probably leave you alone. The "worst" thing they did to us was bring DH's drink in a ridiculously big glass.

i love cotton candy!! i have had a drink before where it comes on top, but the fizz seems to dissolve the cany before i get to eat it, lol. i will sooo be on the look out for this when we go, thanks for asking about it.

I LOVED this drink. I had the cosmo flavored one. I too was sad at how quickly my cotton candy dissolved!! Will I order it again...OH YEAH!!

When we were there last sept. they only had choc., van., and strawberry. We were kinda bummed since we really liked the cotton candy, bubble gum shakes.

I'm pretty sure it was Whispering Canyon Cafe, but they don't have it anymore - they just have chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

Most days, they have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, orange, caramel, bubble gum and cotton candy. If the shake machine is not working correctly, only the basic flavors are available because they need to be made by hand and the bartender has these 3 syrups available.

My DH also hates stuff like that but he actually loved the place. I almost cancelled the ressie because of it but DH said he'd give it a try if it was something DS would enjoy. So we did it and DH LOVED it, infact I cancelled our CP ressie for our last night and got back in to WC.
They have a back room that is off from the main room, there are only about 5-6 tables in there and it is VERY quiet. Try requesting to be sat in there, I think you'd enjoy it. Great view of the hotel, nice fireplace and you didn't have to participate in the antitics if you didn't want to.

Same thing happened to us! I was like, "Hey! Where's the cotton candy in my cotton candy drink?!?!"
