Cotton Blossom from B&BW being discontinued

I'm sure that many of you already know, but I just found out. I'm not happy! Cotton Blossom was my favorite scent.

I hate when B&BW discontinues scents because the new replacement ones are almost always horrendous.

That's why they introduced Sea Island Cotton. Personally I like that one much better than Cotton Blossom.

I had a feeling that was the case when I first saw it. I was in denial, though.

I used to like Cotton Blossom until some stranger in an elevator told me I smelled like Lysol. Needless to say I stopped wearing it after that.

I am so sick of B&BW and Yankee Candle discontinuing my favorite scents though. RIght now I am boycotting YC for discontinuing yet another one of my favorite scents, Ginger Citrus.

My favorite B&BW scent used to Ginger & Aloe, then they discontinued it. I'm told they do sell it in January and June for the old-time hardcore customers who still request it.

As for Cotton Blossom, I like the Sea Island Cotton better so I was happy about that change.

Junie~ Every time I see Juniper Breeze, I think of you. I remember the time that you posted about being at work and having to go home to shower because of JB's body splash; something about it smelling like urine. Well, Lysol is a major improvement over urine.

Junie~ Every time I see Juniper Breeze, I think of you. I remember the time that you posted about being at work and having to go home to shower because of JB's body splash; something about it smelling like urine. Well, Lysol is a major improvement over urine.

You'd think I'd learn....between urine and Lysol, its probably best I steer clear of B&BW all together.

There used to be a seasonal scent about 7-9 years ago that I used to LOVE. It was a holiday scent, but I can't remember the name of it. It smelled like berries and nuts. lol Anyone know what it was called?

I stocked up on a bunch of Tangerine Spice stuff at the semi-annual sale after they discontinued the scent. I just recently sold all of that stuff on Ebay for a nice profit. So, my advice to you is: stock up on the scents that are being discontinued, wait a few months until the stores and internet are out of it, and then go to town on Ebay.

There are more that are being discontinued in Feb 2008...White Cherry Blossom, Magnolia Blossom, Pink grapefruit, Tropical Passionfruit, Gardenia, and Exotic Cococnut...
Currently Disc. scents that are to come out twice a year at the annual sale: Cotton blsm, Juniper breeze, country apple, fressia, white tea and ginger, creamy coconut, plumeria, and a few more oldies..

You know, this is about the 10th scent that I've loved that they've discontinued!!!! I am getting tired of it!!!! I find a new scent that I love and they shut me down!!

Well, that's interesting. I went to the B&BW store last summer trying to find more Green Clover & Aloe stuff. The clerk told me it had been discontinued and she didn't think it was even available online. I remember checking at the time and it wasn't available.

Today I checked the website just to see if I could stock up on some of the ones that are being discontinued and there is Green Clover & Aloe - tons of it. I guess it pays to be persistent and keep checking.
